His favourite superhero might be Batman, but Daniel’s real superpower is thinking in three dimensions, creating the magic of play for Tamariki to enjoy.

Daniel’s qualification – he holds a Bachelor of Design, with a major in spatial design – is the ideal foundation for his role as designer, where he’s responsible for transforming client ideas into detailed drawings and play environments.

If you spot a flying fox or a set of monkey bars at a playground, there’s a strong chance Daniel’s signature design is behind it – he picks these as his favourite pieces of equipment for their speed and versatility.

When not designing playgrounds, Daniel can be found at the gym or on the mat – he holds a Black Belt in Taekwondo and proudly represents New Zealand in the ITF Taekwondo Team.
