Playground Creations designs, manufactures and installs playgrounds for councils, schools, and early childhood centres in the Waikato and further afield. New Zealand owned and operated, Playground Creations was established in 2012, and is committed to supporting the community we live and work in. Our team of playground creators, are forward thinking who love grand challenges as well as every day improvements. As creative thinkers, we are continually looking for new ideas for playgrounds and are committed to creating safe and innovative environments of the highest quality for children of all ages. We build long lasting playgrounds and relationships every step of the way.
At Playground Creations, we understand the manufacturing and installation requirements of modern play equipment. All of our manufacturing is completed in our modern workshop in Matangi, just on the outskirts of Hamilton, and is undertaken using equipment and tools of the highest standard. All our playground equipment is designed and built in accordance with NZS:5828.2015 and has been signed off by our structural engineer.
How we work

Idea
All of our playgrounds begin with an idea – yours, ours or a combined effort.
Site visit
We will conduct a site visit to gather information on the local environment.
Design
Our experienced design team will create a unique playground that is safe and long-lasting.
Develop
We manufacture our playground equipment locally and comply with all safety standards.
Install
We install all of our playgrounds ourselves to ensure you get a great result.

``I’m just a big kid at heart``Having three children of my own means I know the importance of play.
Grand designs – I love grand challenges whatever the brief. I have the building experience and design knowledge to tackle it creatively. No matter how big or small, l enjoy the challenge of creating play spaces that are exciting.
Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning, but for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and believe they are an important part of life. I have a passion for the outdoors and all sports. I have a special interest following my own children in their successes, with our daughter representing NZ in soccer.

``Play is the spirit of children``It’s a happy talent to know how to play and a true passion of mine to ensure children get the play they deserve.
It’s fantastic to be working in the playground industry, running my own business and raising our two children.
With experience in sales and marketing, I value building long lasting relationships and long last playgrounds.
Outside of work, I enjoy encouraging our boys in their sporting endeavours and love travelling and holidaying with family and friends. Keeping active with a variety of yoga and crossfit classes keeps me balanced. When time permits, in winter I can be found on the ski slopes.
